From 2nd May 2009, re-edited versions have been introduced of the original BBC ONE idents that aired from 7th October 2006. These edits allow the BBC ONE logo to form-up earlier on in order to emphasize the channel branding. The music accompanying the idents has also changed - either by way of re-editing or new music.

'EastEnders' celebrates its 25th anniversary in February 2010. In this ident, the soap square becomes 'Albert Circle'.
For St David's Day, BBC ONE Wales plays out this celebratory ident - in use from 2007. Here, it is followed by the BBC Cymru Wales ident.
