From 2nd May 2009, re-edited versions have been introduced of the original BBC ONE idents that aired from 7th October 2006. These edits allow the BBC ONE logo to form-up earlier on in order to emphasize the channel branding. The music accompanying the idents has also changed - either by way of re-editing or new music.

'Strictly Come Dancing' ident November 2010. 400 members of the public participated in this specially choreographed dance filmed at the BBC Television Centre in London. This ident has also been added to the current rotation.
