This set of idents were launched as part of a complete update to the channel's presentation on 7th October 2006. There is the common theme of an encompassing circle throughout all the presentation - conveying the idea of unity and that BBC ONE brings people together. They were superceded by re-edited versions launched 2nd May 2009.
