On Friday 1st April 2011, in conjunction with a free weekend's viewing via Sky, MGM HD unveiled a new look with a refreshed logo comprising a stylised version of MGM's traditional symbol - a lion's head surrounded by the 'Ars Gratia Artis' motto embossed on film.
