America's 'Public Broadcasting Service' PBS arrived in the UK on 1st November 2011. The on-air presentation is a re-purposing of the American branding with new idents created by the London design agency Dunning Penney Jones.

There are four primary colour schemes associated with different programming categories: green for science, blue for current affairs and investigative journalism, pink for arts, culture and entertainment, and orange for history.
