On 2nd April 2010, ITV launched its high-definition channel ITV1 HD which introduced an updated ITV1 logo. A week later on 9th April, the parent channel's presentation began using the new logo and made further additions to the ident set.
The fourth of the new idents to air with this refresh, 'Dodgems' had its first airing before 'Britain's Got Talent' on Saturday 17th April 2010.
