In-Programme Pointer : The letters of 'Next' scroll from right to left into position, the programme strap appears, then the letters of 'Next' are replaced by 'ITV1'. These might then be replaced with 'ITV2', for example, with a strap for what's next on that channel. At the end, the strap disappears and the letters of 'ITV1' scroll off to the left, one by one.

Just before the commercials at the end of a programme, the 'Next and Then' would animate on to the screen in the same style as the start of the main idents.
