'Dave - The Home of Witty Banter' was launched on Monday 15th October - the result of a complete rebrand of the former UKTV G2 channel. Originally the channel was broadcast in 4:3 aspect ratio, but at the end of January 2008 all presentation moved to 16:9 widescreen. This is the Sailing Boat ident.

Break-flashes consisting of stills with the 'Dave' logo and tag-line at the centre appear at either end of commercial breaks.
